    The Very First Patent in Denmark

    Budde Schou's history starts with Kjøbenhavns Patentbureau and we are proud to have such a long tradition for establishing exclusive rights on behalf of our clients.

    Danish Patent No. 1 was obtained by Kjøbenhavns Patentbureua on behalf of Handels-Interessentskabet Dåwrud - a Norwegian company located in the city of Stavanger.

    The invention according to the first Danish patent relates to "a machine for printing of vignettes or ornaments in one or several colours onto cylindrical, oval, angular or conical objects, in particular tins and the like".
